LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 1, 2026) — TAWA Gateway, a well-known shopping destination in San Gabriel, recently announced a new wave of retail and dining tenants, bringing more shopping, food, and lifestyle experiences to Southern California. The biggest highlight is The Best Shop, a popular Canadian department store, which has chosen San Gabriel for its first-ever U.S. location.

The new tenants include premium tea brand Cha Redefine, Taiwanese dumpling chain Bafang Dumpling, Happy Lamb Hot Pot, travel agency Tours4Fun, and The Best Shop. These brands join existing popular businesses such as Guiji Tea, Marugame Udon, and Dong Ting Chun, creating an even more diverse destination for dining and shopping.

Rosa Tso, Senior Vice President of Real Estate at Sunny Skies Terrace, said TAWA Gateway has always been committed to creating a lifestyle center where culture, community, and commerce come together. She also thanked the local community, tenants, and partners for helping make that vision a reality.

During the press conference, representatives from Cha Redefine also introduced the brand’s concept, sharing that they hope to offer consumers a fresh tea experience through premium ingredients and innovative flavors, providing a modern alternative to traditional boba and tea shops.

Looking ahead, TAWA Gateway plans to welcome additional businesses over the next year, including Soup Escape Room, Golf Envy, BBT Bakery, and Vietnamese restaurant Cơm tấm Sà Bì Chưởng, further expanding the center’s dining and entertainment offerings.
